We understand that purchasing digital content requires trust, and we aim to be fair and transparent in our refund practices. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which you may request a refund for courses purchased through our platform.
1. 14-Day Refund Window
We offer a 14-day refund period from the date of purchase for all course enrollments. If you are unsatisfied with your course for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your original purchase date, subject to the conditions outlined below.
2. Eligibility Conditions
To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:
- Timing: The refund request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date. Requests received after the 14-day window will not be considered.
- Content consumption: You must not have completed more than 25% of the total course content (measured by video lessons watched and materials accessed). If you have consumed more than 25% of the course, we consider the content to have been substantially delivered, and a refund will not be issued.
- Certificate not issued: If a certificate of completion has been generated for the course, refund eligibility is forfeited, as the course is deemed fully consumed.
- Single refund per course: Each course is eligible for one refund only. If you purchase the same course again after receiving a refund, subsequent purchases of that course are non-refundable.
- Downloadable materials: If the course includes downloadable recipe cards, PDFs, or other digital resources, you must confirm that you have deleted all downloaded materials as part of the refund process.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- Courses purchased more than 14 calendar days ago
- Courses where more than 25% of the content has been accessed
- Bundle or promotional packages purchased at a discounted rate (unless the entire bundle is returned and less than 25% of any individual course has been consumed)
- Gift course purchases (the purchaser may request a refund within 14 days if the gift recipient has not yet redeemed the course)
- Courses obtained through free promotions or giveaways
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:

- Include the following information in your email:
- Your full name as registered on your account
- The email address associated with your account
- The name of the course for which you are requesting a refund
- Your order number or transaction ID (found in your purchase confirmation email)
- A brief explanation of why you are requesting the refund
- Our support team will review your request and verify eligibility within 3-5 business days.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been approved or denied, with a clear explanation.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed as follows:
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Processing time is typically 5-10 business days from the date of approval, depending on your financial institution.
- Refunds are issued in Canadian Dollars (CAD). If your original payment was in a different currency, the refund amount may vary slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations — Artisan Dough Academy is not responsible for any differences caused by currency conversion.
- Upon refund, your access to the course will be revoked immediately.
6. Disputes and Chargebacks
We encourage students to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback through their bank or credit card company. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the suspension of your account and loss of access to all courses. We are committed to resolving any issues fairly and promptly through our support team.
7. Technical Issues
If you are experiencing technical difficulties accessing course content (e.g., video playback issues, login problems, or platform errors), please contact our technical support team at support@artisandoughacademy.ca before requesting a refund. In many cases, technical issues can be resolved quickly, and we want to ensure you have the opportunity to enjoy the course you purchased.
If a technical issue is confirmed to be on our end and cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe, we will offer a full refund regardless of the 14-day window or content consumption limits.
8. Course Changes and Updates
We may occasionally update course content to improve quality, correct errors, or add new material. Minor updates do not constitute grounds for a refund. However, if we significantly alter the scope or nature of a course in a way that materially changes what you purchased, we will notify you in advance and offer a refund option.
